No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Niigata Albirex (14-10) crushed at home 10th ranked Yokohama BC (4-20) 92-65 on Sunday. The game without a history. Niigata Albirex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Niigata Albirex had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Russell Carter (196-85, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. American guard Warren Niles (196-89, college: ORU, agency: KMG Sports Management) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and British power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, college: Bellarmine) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Niigata Albirex moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Aomori Watts. Yokohama BC lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 20 games lost.
