Regular Season Round 11: Elitzur Yavne - Maccabi H/H 82-85

A very interesting game took place in Yavne. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked Elitzur Yavne (5-6) to thirteenth ranked Hasharon (3-8) 85-82 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Elitzur Yavne. The game without a history. Hasharon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Point guard Adi Cohen (178-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Rhamel Brown (201-92, college: Manhattan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Hasharon players scored in double figures. American guard Mark Tyndale (196-86, college: Temple) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and forward Michael Zalmanovich (197-92) added 14 points in the effort for Elitzur Yavne. Elitzur Yavne's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hasharon moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Ramat Hasharon and Hapoel K/S. Elitzur Yavne at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#6) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
