Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds and John Wall registered 14 points with 12 assists in the setback, Washington's second straight defeat on the heels of a three-game winning streak. Russell Westbrook had 22 points and six assists for the Thunder (17-17), who reached .500 for the first time this season. Oklahoma City shot 53 per cent from the field to win for the fourth time in five games. Out of the huddle, Nene hit a mid-range jumper prior to Westbrook slashing through the lane for a layup. . Durant really put the pressure on the visitors after each team exchanged misses, converting an alley-oop layup with Paul Pierce draped all over him at 1:42. Beal made a 3-pointer with just over a minute remaining to trim Oklahoma City's lead to 105-102. Washington had a chance to inch closer or tie, but Westbrook intercepted a pass by Wall that was intended for Beal. Westbrook then hit a pair of free throws in the final seconds to secure the win. . Washington led 29-28 after the first quarter and pushed the margin to 57-55 at the half. Wall's runner gave the Wizards an 82-74 lead late in the third, but Durant knocked down a pair of treys to close the quarter as part of an 8-0 run. Westbrook led the Thunder with 14 points, but he made just 5 of 15 shots while his teammates were 18 of 27 from the field. Westbrook committed his fourth foul early in the third quarter, and the Wizards started the second half with an 8-4 stretch to take a 65-59 lead. Westbrook missed a dunk, and then fouled Beal after Washington got the rebound.
