The game in Mogilev supposed to be also quite interesting. Grodno-93 (10-1) played at the court of Borisfen (6-5). Grodno-93 smashed Borisfen 91-59 on Friday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-59. Grodno-93 dominated on the defensive end, holding Borisfen to just 2 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Borisfen's 24. Grodno-93 forced 22 Borisfen turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Kanstantin Yafremov (202-86, agency: Promotex) fired 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Artem Malkov (185-88) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Alexander Harkevich (186-86) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and guard Sergey Tatur (195-91) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Grodno-93 will face Rubon (#4) in Vitebsk in the next round. Borisfen will play at home against Tsmoki II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
