We should mention about the upset which took place in Coruna, where higher ranked Blancos de Rueda (9-6) lost to eleventh ranked Leyma Basquet (7-9) in a road game 61-72 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-61. Leyma Basquet had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leyma Basquet made 7 blocks. Trinidad and Tobago center Kyle Rowley (213-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Serbian Aleksandar Petrovic (203-87) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds.
