Regular Season Round 12: Lemvig - SISU 90-66

Leader Lemvig delivered the ninth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked SISU (2-6) 90-66. The game without a history. Lemvig led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 SISU turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Helle Kristiansen (179-92) who scored 27 points and 4 steals. U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Lemvig's coach Peter Jensen felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Mathilde Colding-Poulsen (178-95) who recorded 26 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Katrine Dyszkant (183-86) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Lemvig maintains first position with 9-2 record. SISU lost sixth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Lemvig are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. SISU will play against Stevnsgade and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
