The game in Palanga was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Petrochema (15-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Palanga (13-13). Petrochema managed to secure a 5-point victory 72-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Palanga. Palanga was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Forward Aurimas Urbonas (197-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Tomas Milinskas (203-90) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Deividas Keburys (201-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Deividas Anuzis (181-92) added 15 points in the effort for Palanga. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Petrochema maintains fifth position with 15-11 record. Palanga at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 13 games lost.
