The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Stal Ostrow as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Krosno) loss. Stal Ostrow defeated 13th ranked SKK Siedlce in Ostrow Wlkp. 83-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SKK Siedlce. The game was mostly controlled by Stal Ostrow.
