No shocking result in a game in Moscow where sixth ranked Elbrus Cherk. (8-12) edged 10th ranked MBA-Runa (5-15) 58-57 on Saturday. Elbrus Cherk. forced 19 MBA-Runa turnovers. Naturalized Nigerian center Aleksey Adediran (202-82, college: Binghamton) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Aleksandr Prikazchikov (210-91) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Konstantin Babynin (192-88) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Ivan Vadeev (200-93) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. MBA-Runa's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Elbrus Cherk. maintains sixth position in League with 8-12 record. Newly promoted MBA-Runa keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost. Elbrus Cherk. will face Kamit-Univ. (#7) in Tver in the next round. MBA-Runa will play at home against Dynamo-CBK and hope to win that game.
