The most exciting game of round 11 in the TKBL took place in Adana. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Botas (6-5) to seventh ranked Adana ASKI (6-5) 66-65 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Botas. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 21-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and American-Armenian swingman Quianna Chaney (180-86, college: LSU) added 18 points and 7 assists in the effort for Botas. Botas' coach Ceyhun Yildizoglu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Adana ASKI moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Botas. Adana ASKI is looking forward to face Hatay (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play against Ormanspor (#14) in Ankara and is hoping to win this game.
