Regular Season Round 12: Falcon - Stevnsgade 55-78

The game in Falcon supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Stevnsgade (6-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Falcon (2-9). Stevnsgade smashed Falcon 78-55 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Stevnsgade made 22-of-22 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 19 Falcon turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Sullivan (188-91, college: Montana) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and swingman Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) who added 26 points and 5 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. Four Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Coach Igor Gavrilovic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Tone Heiberg (184-92) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Stevnsgade maintains third position with 6-3 record having five points less than leader Lemvig. Falcon lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Stevnsgade will meet SISU (#5) in the next round. Falcon will have a break next round.
