Regular Season Round 15: Licher Baeren - Hanau 65-78

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked White Wings (6-8) won against on the road 10th ranked Licher Basket (4-10) 78-65 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Cardell McFarland (182-87, college: Ky Wesleyan) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. His fellow American import forward Cory Cooperwood (200-88, college: Wright St.) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. White Wings' coach Steven Clauss used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was power forward Daniel Dorr (202-83) with 12 points and guard Viktor Klassen (186-81) scored 14 points. White Wings moved-up to seventh place in Group South, which they share with Fraport SKY II. Licher Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. White Wings will face Saarlouis (#12) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Licher Basket will play against Dragons Rhoendorf and hope to win that game.
