But Sanda Basket was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Helsingborg 76-74 on Saturday night. Sanda Basket was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Helsingborg made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Sanda Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Filip Sjostrom (198-90) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Martin Fastberg (189-91) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. David Erberg produced 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Mustafa Allotey added 13 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Helsingborg will face Haga Haninge (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sanda Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Huskvarna to the arena Brahe Basket.
