But Sanda Basket was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Helsingborg 76-74 on Saturday night. Sanda Basket was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Helsingborg made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Sanda Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Filip Sjostrom (198-90) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Martin Fastberg (189-91) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. David Erberg produced 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Mustafa Allotey added 13 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Helsingborg will face Haga Haninge (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
