Important game to mention about took place in Sosnowiec. Eighth ranked Zaglebie (9-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Legia (9-7) 78-75 in the fight for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Legia. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Zaglebie brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Marcin Kosinski (186-85) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Zaglebie have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Znicz Basket and Legia. Zaglebie will play against league's second-placed Sokol Lancut on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Legia will play against SKK Siedlce (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
