Fuerza Regia earned the first victory at the Liga Americas Group A action. They wrapped up their campaign with a comfortable win over Leones de Managua. Michael Hunter scored 24 points to pace the winners. Fuerza Regia grabbed a 22:14 lead after the opening quarter. The Mexican side unleashed 29 points in the second period to establish a 51:33 halftime lead. Fuerza Regia maintained the lead throughout the third term. They entered the fourth quarter up by 22 points 71:49. Leones poured in 26 points in the final quarter but could not avoid the defeat. Eugene Phelps connected for 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Josimar Ayarza had 16 points in the win. Berdiel responded with 20 points for Leones. Narvaez and Bartel Lopez had 15 points each in the loss.
