An interesting game for BK Pardubice (18-9) which hosted in Pardubice one of their biggest challengers BK Opava (16-11). Third ranked BK Pardubice had an easy win 83-67. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BK Pardubice outrebounded BK Opava 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for BK Pardubice especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ondrej Kohout (204-91) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Lukas Kotas (193-84) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international guard Jakub Sirina (186-87) replied with 7 points, 10 assists and 6 steals and guard Petr Dokoupil (191-88) added 11 points in the effort for BK Opava. BK Opava's coach Petr Czudek rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BK Pardubice maintains third position with 18-9 record having just two points less than leader BK Decin. BK Opava at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. BK Pardubice are looking forward to face BK Kolin (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Opava will play against the league's leader BK Decin (#1) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
