Semi-Finals Game 2: Petrochimi - Azad 72-69

Petrochimi snatched a tough home win over Azad to level the semifinal series. The teams will now play decider on Thursday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Azad won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Petrochimi dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Azad's 24. 24 personal fouls committed by Azad helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and international Hamed Afagh (193-83) chipped in 17 points during the contest. International power forward Rouzbeh Arghavan (214-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and international Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-90) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
