Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Elitzur Yavne and 8th ranked Ironi Ashkelon had identical 7-7 record. But Ironi Ashkelon was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Yavne 117-110 on Tuesday night. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. Loser Ironi Ashkelon dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Elitzur Yavne will face Maccabi Raanana (#12) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ironi Ashkelon will play against the league's second-placed Ironi Kiryat Ata and hope to win that game.
