Semi-Finals Game 3: Azad - Petrochimi 68-73

Petrochimi snatched a road victory over Azad in the decisive third game of the semifinal series and sealed their ticked into the Finals. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-10. But Azad won second period 14-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Petrochimi won last quarter 25-21. They also forced 22 Azad turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Azad helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for international forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. International center Meisam Mirzaei (210-92) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Five Petrochimi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Hamed Hosseinzadeh (187-87) with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-90) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
