No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Karpos Sokoli (7-3) crushed 8th ranked Goce Delchev (2-8) in Skopje 94-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. Karpos Sokoli led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Karpos Sokoli forced 24 Goce Delchev turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Goce Delchev's players. It was an exceptional evening for American Darius Rice (208-82, college: Miami, FL) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian point guard Igor Mijajlovic (194-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) accounted for 10 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Karpos Sokoli's coach Aleksandar Petrovic felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Nikola Karakolev (197-87) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Stefan Krstevski (190-93) added 17 points respectively for Goce Delchev in the defeat. Karpos Sokoli moved-up to second place, which they share with Feni Indistrija. Newly promoted Goce Delchev keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Karpos Sokoli will meet Kumanovo 2009 (#5) on the road in the next round. Goce Delchev will play against the league's leader Rabotnicki and hope to secure a win.
