Therefore Halcones Rojos advanced into the next stage of the competition. Devin Ebanks scored 22 points to lead the winners. Francisco Cruz added 15 points for Halcones Rojos. The Mexican side built a 49:41 halftime advantage. They stretched the lead to double digits in the third term and never looked back en route to the win. Leon Rodgers responded with 16 points for Marinos. Jose Vargas added 14 points in the defeat.
