Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BG Goettingen (10-10) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Braunschweig and Art.Dragons. Deutsche Bank Skyliners at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ludwigsburg. BG Goettingen will play against Phoenix Hagen (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will play against the league's leader ALBA Berlin and will have a slim chance for a victory.
