We should mention about the upset which took place in Ningbo, where higher ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (11-27) lost to nineteenth ranked Bayi Rockets (7-31) in a road game 116-131 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Bayi Rockets. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank managed to win second period 29-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bayi Rockets dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's 54. Bayi Rockets had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) scored 31 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) responded with 40 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and guard Qian Wu (190-94) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bayi Rockets and four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bayi Rockets maintains nineteenth position with 7-31 record. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 27 games lost.
