No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Raiffeisen Wels (14-9) smashed at home 8th ranked Arkadia Lions (9-14) 88-67 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Raiffeisen Wels. Arkadia Lions managed to win second period 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Raiffeisen Wels dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Arkadia Lions' 36 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Arkadia Lions 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Raiffeisen Wels looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Arkadia Lions' players. It was a great evening for naturalized German power forward Tilo Klette (206-77) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American power forward Tremaine Ford (207-86, college: CS Northridge) helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Argentinian-Italian forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, agency: Interperformances) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Florian Trmal (199-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 16 points. Raiffeisen Wels maintains fourth place with 14-9 record, which they share with Kapfenberg. Arkadia Lions lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost.
