No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Burgos (11-6) smashed at home bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon (4-15) 88-63 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 25 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Michel Diouf (207-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and point guard Lluis Costa (187-93) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Burgos players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (207-76, agency: Duran International) responded with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Kenan Karahodzic (209-96) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Burgos have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Burgos went down to fifth position due to points difference. Loser Clinicas Rincon stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Burgos will meet league's second-placed Ourense on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Clinicas Rincon will play against Lobe Huesca (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
