Regular Season Round 15: KAOD - AGOR 91-76

We should mention about the upset which took place in Dramas, where higher ranked AGOR (7-8) lost to thirteenth ranked KAOD (5-10) in a road game 76-91. The game was mostly controlled by KAOD. AGOR was better in fourth quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. KAOD outrebounded AGOR 38-24 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by AGOR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for New Zealand forward Robert Loe (211-91, college: St.Louis) who led the winners and scored 22 points. American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) accounted for 14 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American point guard Vincent Council (188-90, college: Providence) came up with 15 points and 6 assists and Dutch power forward Roeland Schaftenaar (211-88, college: Oregon St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for AGOR in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KAOD moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Koroivos and Trikalla. AGOR lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. KAOD's next round opponent will be higher ranked PAOK (#3) in Thessaloniki and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
