Top ranked Iserlohn (15-3) recorded its third loss in Frankfurt on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked Fraport Skyliners II (9-9) 67-64. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Iserlohn. Forward Niklas Kiel (207-97, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Johannes Richter (206-93, agency: LUMANI 10.7) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Matt Kavanaugh (206-91, college: Dayton) produced 18 points and British forward Orlan Jackman (201-88, college: Oklahoma City) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Iserlohn's coach Matthias Grothe rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fraport Skyliners II moved-up to sixth place in Group South, which they share with Karlsruhe and Schwelm. Newly promoted Iserlohn still keeps top position with three games lost. Fraport Skyliners II is looking forward to face higher ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Iserlohn will play against Speyer and is hoping to win this game.
