Regular Season Round 12: Goce Delchev - Rabotnicki 64-81

Prva Liga top team - Rabotnicki (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked Goce Delchev (2-9) in Shtip 81-64. The game was mostly controlled by Rabotnicki. Goce Delchev was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by the former international center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 19 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Rabotnicki's coach Marin Dokuzovski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by power forward Daniel Kalov (204-89) did not help to save the game for Goce Delchev. Nikola Karakolev (197-87) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rabotnicki have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Newly promoted Goce Delchev keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Rabotnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena MZT Skopje.
