Second Stage Round 6: Sevilla - PGE Turow 76-97

Rather expected game when 3rd ranked Spanish Sevilla (2-4) was smashed at home by first ranked Polish PGE Turow (5-1) 97-76 on Wednesday. The game without a history. PGE Turow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was a good game for power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Chris Wright (203-88, college: Dayton) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis (215-95) replied with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Willy Hernangomez (210-94) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sevilla. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Polish champion maintains first position in Group L with 5-1 record. Loser Sevilla dropped to the bottom place with four games lost.
