Camaguey was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 29-11 charge of Capitalinas, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Camaguey 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Camaguey's players. Center Zuleira Atis (190-80) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
