Regular Season Round 25: Denso Iris - Haneda Vickies 74-50

Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (0-25) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 25th consecutive match to fourth ranked Denso Iris (17-6) 74-50 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International forward Chisa Yoshida (178-88) chipped in 12 points. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) produced 10 points and 8 rebounds and Arisa Takagi (168-89) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Denso Iris. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Toyota A. Haneda Vickies lost their twenty third game in a row. They still close the standings. Denso Iris will again meet bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haneda Vickies will have a break next round.
