Second Stage Round 7: LF Future - Orongo 81-75

There was a surprise result in Lulea where eleventh ranked LF Future (2-4) defeated higher ranked Orongo Dragons (3-3) 81-75 on Sunday. Orongo Dragons trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 20-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-81 at the end of the game. LF Future forced 26 Orongo Dragons turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Johan Aasa (187-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Nils Gjorup (177-92) helped adding 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and guard David Niklasson (192-95) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. LF Future moved-up to tenth place in BEHS forts, which they share with BG Lulea. Loser Orongo Dragons keep the sixth position with three games lost. LF Future will face higher ranked Jarfalla (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
