Bottom-ranked Gaiteros (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-73 loss to fourth ranked Marinos (4-1) in Puerto La Cruz. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Cocodrilos and Guaiqueries.
