No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (11-8) beat on the road 9th ranked Ironi Ashkelon (8-11) 97-89 on Tuesday. Ironi Ashkelon trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 30-21 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 89-97 at the end of the game. Ironi Ramat Gan looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Quite impressive performance for center Ben Altit (208-93, college: Bryant, agency: Avi Zilberman) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Amit Tamir (208-79, college: California) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St., agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Ironi Ashkelon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ironi Ramat Gan moved-up to sixth place. Loser Ironi Ashkelon keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost.
