Regular Season Round 19: IMOS Brno - SBS Ostrava 66-53

Very expected game when 10th ranked SBS Ostrava (4-15) lost on the road to fourth ranked IMOS Brno (12-7) 66-53 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 38-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian guard Ivana Jalcova (183-83) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. American center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois, agency: Two Points) accounted for 6 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side. American center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import power forward Chantel Hilliard (188-90, college: Auburn) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for SBS Ostrava in the defeat. IMOS Brno maintains fourth place with 12-7 record. Newly promoted SBS Ostrava keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
