Regular Season Round 19: Sokol HK - Kara Trutnov 76-72

ZBL top team - Sokol Hradec Kralove (15-3) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Kara Trutnov (10-8) 76-72. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kara Trutnov won fourth quarter 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sokol Hradec Kralove made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Kara Trutnov turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Belarusian swingman Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-88) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Tereza Kuthanova (180-87) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. American swingman Sam Ostarello (188-91, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and forward Milena Prokresova (180-81) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kara Trutnov. Four Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. Sokol Hradec Kralove maintains first place with 15-3 record. Kara Trutnov at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
