Everything went according to plan in Allmendingen where fifth ranked Science City Jena (14-10) beat bottom-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (4-20) 96-89. Science City Jena made 27-of-32 charity shots (84.4 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Science City Jena especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Ehingen/Urspringschule helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard David Hicks (183-88, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: LUMANI 10.7) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 4 assists (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!).
