Lianoning grabbed 2-0 lead over Qingdao in the semifinal series. The Hunters earned a comfortable home win in Game 2. Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Qingdao Eagles 53-39 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Liaoning Hunters brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Ailun Guo (192-93) chipped in 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Five Liaoning Hunters players scored in double figures. American point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington, agency: Comsport) responded with 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Chengyu Zhang (193-89) scored 24 points.
