Second Stage Round 5: Trotamundos - Flamengo 70-105

Flamengo registered the second straight win in Mar del Plata. They cruised past Trotamundos de Carabobo to stay perfect in Group F action. Flamengo booked their Final Four appearance with the victory. Walter Herrmann came up with 22 points to pace the winners. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the opening quarter. Flamengo eked out a 29:27 lead after ten minutes. But the Brazilian powerhouse held Trotamundos to just 6 points in the second term to clear off to a 14-point mark. Flamengo followed with a 33-point outburst in the third term to clear off for good. Marquinhos Vieira scored 18 points, while Olivinha Rodriguez added 15 points for the winners. Clarence Matthews responded with 14 points for Trotamundos. David Cubillan had 13 points in the defeat.
