Everything went according to plan in Tuebingen where tenth ranked Artland Dragons (12-12) beat 15th ranked Walter Tigers (7-17) 90-86. Artland Dragons shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Two Points) who scored that evening 20 points and 4 assists and the other American import point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St.) supported him with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. Artland Dragons' coach Tyron McCoy allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 27 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) did not help to save the game for Walter Tigers. Serbian guard Branislav Ratkovica (192-85, agency: Beo Basket) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Artland Dragons moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg. Walter Tigers at the other side keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with TBB Trier. Artland Dragons will play against Braunschweig (#11) in Braunschweig in the next round. Walter Tigers will play on the road against TBB Trier (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
