Regular Season Round 15: Kozuv - Rabotnicki 85-73

There was a change at the Prva Liga leadership position after last games. Round 15 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Rabotnicki (10-3). They were defeated by sixth ranked Kozuv (7-6) 85-73 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-73. Kozuv dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rabotnicki's 30. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Slobodan Dundjerski (188-88, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83, agency: BeoExcell) helped adding 20 points. Kozuv's coach Milos Pejic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Miljan Pavkovic (178-81, agency: Beo Basket) scored 23 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kozuv maintains sixth place with 7-6 record. Rabotnicki at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by MZT Skopje who have the same record. Rabotnicki will play next round against strong Karpos Sokoli trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje - Karpos Sokoli. Kozuv will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked MZT Skopje on the road.
