Regular Season Round 36: BK Pardubice - Svitavy 88-75

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Basketbal Svitavy (12-22) was defeated on the road by third ranked BK Pardubice (24-11) 88-75. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. Basketbal Svitavy was better in third quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward Joseph Wall (200-89, college: Seattle Pacific) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Levell Sanders (189-75, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American Cory Abercrombie (201-85, college: Independence CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Michal Sotnar (187-92) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Basketbal Svitavy. Five Basketbal Svitavy players scored in double figures. BK Pardubice maintains third position with 24-11 record having just two points less than leader BK Decin. Basketbal Svitavy lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 22 games lost. BK Pardubice will play against league's second-placed Prostejov on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basketbal Svitavy will play against the league's leader BK Decin (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
