Regular Season Round 37: Prostejov - BK Pardubice 83-72

An interesting game for Prostejov (26-9) which hosted in Prostejov 3rd placed BK Pardubice (24-12). Second ranked Prostejov managed to get a 11-point victory 83-72. BK Pardubice was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded BK Pardubice 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Power forward David Steffel (212-85) stepped up and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Prostejov players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Levell Sanders (189-75, college: Seton Hall) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Ondrej Kohout (204-91) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. BK Pardubice's coach Dusan Bohunicky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Prostejov have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 26-9 record having just two points less than leader BK Decin. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the third position with 12 games lost. Prostejov will play against league's leader BK Decin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Pardubice will have a break next round.
