Very important is a road loss of third ranked Sopron KC (17-6) against thirteenth ranked MAFC (4-20) on Saturday night. Visiting Sopron KC was defeated by MAFC in a tough game in Budapest 77-84. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Neiko Hunter (201-90, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Parrish Brown (185-84, college: Maryland) accounted for 24 points for the winning side. Four MAFC players scored in double figures. MAFC's coach Stefan Timbus used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Gergely Toth (206-89, agency: Interperformances) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sopron KC in the defeat. MAFC moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with ZTE KK. Sopron KC lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost.
