Regular Season Round 22: Energa Czarni - Wilki Morskie 82-50

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Energa Czarni (13-8) crushed 14th ranked Wilki Morskie (6-17) in Slupsk 82-50 on Sunday. The game without a history. Energa Czarni led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Wilki Morskie's 34. They outrebounded Wilki Morskie 48-25 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American guard Kyle Shiloh (188-85, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) contributed with 5 points and 14 assists for the winners. Energa Czarni's coach Donaldas Kairys felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Rodney Green (195-88, college: La Salle) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) added 11 points in the effort for Wilki Morskie. Energa Czarni moved-up to sixth place. Wilki Morskie lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Energa Czarni will face Trefl (#8) in Sopot in the next round. Wilki Morskie will play at home against Stabill Jezioro (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
