Rather expected game when 11th ranked Maccabi Ashdod (6-16) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Bnei Hasharon (9-13) 92-79 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Bnei Hasharon's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-16 extending their advantage to 13 points. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Bnei Hasharon forced 21 Maccabi Ashdod turnovers. Maccabi Ashdod was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
