Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Ruskon-Mordovia. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sojuz Zaretchny. Loser Dynamo-MGTU keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Ruskon-Mordovia will meet Tegas DR (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamo-MGTU will play against Cheboksari (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
