Athinaikos defeated Olympiacos on the road to sweep the playout series. The game was mostly controlled by Athinaikos. Olympiakos managed to win third quarter 18-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olympiakos to just 3 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Olympiakos 44-25 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Athinaikos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Anastasia Kostaki (172-78) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Afedoula Magaliou (168-79) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Niki Zerva (184-79) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Eytixi Deligianni (183-84) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
