Semi-Finals Game 2: Santiago - Capitalinos 68-76

Capitalinos earned a road win over Santiago to gain 2-0 lead in the semifinal series. Santiago was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Strangely Santiago outrebounded Capitalinos 35-10 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. International center Jasiel Rivero (204-93) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Lisvan Valdez (195-88) chipped in 11 points and 4 blocks during the contest. Eddy Hechevarria (193-86) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and international center Javier Justiz (205-92) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Four Santiago players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
