The most shocking disappointment of round 10 was a home defeat of 4th ranked 08 Stockholm (5-6) to fifth ranked Alvik Basket (6-5) 93-88. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-88. Alvik Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Mario Blazevic (179-93) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Marten Melinder (194-92) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Olivier Ilunga (185-84, agency: Promotex) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 assists and guard Jonas Ehlde (188-92) scored 15 points. Five Alvik Basket and four 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Alvik Basket moved-up to fourth place in Superettan. 08 Stockholm at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Alvik Basket are looking forward to face league's second-placed IK Eos in Lund in the next round and it may be the game of the week. 08 Stockholm will play on the road against Boras II (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
